Ormar Poodles is located in the beautiful suburb of Ile Bizard, in Montreal Quebec, Canada. Ormar was established in 1992 with the acquisition of our beautiful and beloved foundation female, "Marney", who lived to be 16 years old. She finished her championship as a puppy in 3 weekends with multiple Best Puppy In Show wins and went on to produce multi group, group placing and best puppy in show, winning children, and grandchildren. |

We successfully exhibit our poodles in Canada, the U.S.A. and in Europe. While obtaining championship and obedience titles is important to us, our main priority lies with the temperament and health of our dogs. Ormar poodles are known to be sound, intelligent, wonderful loving companions and possessing beautiful breed type. Breeding poodles is an honour and a privilege. As dedicated breeders and lovers of poodles, we stress the importance of all genetic testing. We test for Hips (OFA), Sebaceous Adenitis (Skin punch Biopsy), Thyroid, Eyes (CERF), Von Willebrand's (DNA, VET GEN), and NE (DNA, University of Missouri). We are NOT a kennel. Our dogs are much loved members of our family. They live with us, and sleep in our home. They are well socialized with adults, children and canines. Our dogs are provided with daily outdoor exercise on forest trails where they meet, play and socialize with other dogs as well swim in the lake near our home in the summer. They have active and full lives. We do not breed our dogs before 2 years of age, with females being bred later than 2 years old. We breed only 1 to 2 quality litters per year. Our puppies are born and raised in our home, in a clean and loving environment with lots of mental stimuli which prepares them for the outside world. We provide our clients with a FIVE (5) Year Written Health Guarantee. |

Puppies do not leave our home before 8-9 weeks of age. Our puppies are professionally temperament tested and carefully matched to each client's personality and lifestyle. All puppies are placed with spay/neuter contracts. Our clients are provided with copies of all genetic testing results on both dam and sire of the litter, the temperament test results, and a new puppy starter kit. Our puppies are all vet checked, microchipped, dewormed and CKC registered. |

We encourage all our clients to stay in touch with and update us on their puppy's progress periodically. We love to receive e-mails, photos and visitors. Everyone who visits our home and interacts with our puppies and adult dogs can see how well loved and cared for Ormar Poodles are. |
